What is The Rat Race
The Rat Race is a term often associated with an endless pursuit for wealth, which is in fact a pointless ambition. It is a metaphor for lab rat trying to escape its cage or a maze but ultimately just runs round in circles; its attempts are completely futile.
In a parallel view to a modern city, it is many rats running around a large cage or maze; yet ultimately achieving nothing worthwhile or meaningful, either as individuals or as a group.
The Rat Race term is often associated with work or employment. If a person rushes round all day, gets stuck in traffic to and from work, whist at the place of employment is busy all day achieving very little, generally stressed over money, and only goals in life are buying bigger and better material objects (like cars and houses); then this person is well and truly stuck in The Rat Race.
The aim of this website is to make people question their current existence and attitude to life. The resources are geared towards showing people stuck in The Rat Race: a better work/life balance.
It’s equally important to consider this. Retiring at later in life is majorly flawed. You have poor fitness, possible bad health, less faculties and less motivation. Life is for living today, not for tomorrow. Rat Race Winner will show you how to take ‘efficient retirements’ which are basically mini breaks from work. But to do this you need passive (automated) income. This site will also show you how to set up multiple streams of income.
During the ‘efficient retirements’ its important to improve who you are, learn more skills, visit far away places, fulfill ambitions, spend time with loved ones and achieve personal goals.
Being stuck in The Rat Race prevents you from maximising on life, but this site will show you there is another way!
