Vodafone and Orange To Sell Apple iPhone 3g – At Last!

apple-iphone-3g-on-vodafoneApple iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in the UK and Ireland have until now been exclusive to O2, but an announcement made yesterday has revealed that Vodafone and Orange customers can soon benefit from this great handset.

Some regulars to RatRaceWinner.com might be wondering why iIm blogging about this when it doesnt really tie in with the site ethos and niche; well it does.  To be efficient in work and in life you need to be at least a brown belt in time management.

As a Vodafone customer myself I have been limited to the Windows Mobile platform and Blackberrys, although they are good, they are still miles behind Apple when it comes to applications and functions; all of which will improve your time efficiency!

The deal for Vodafone was only signed on 29th September 2009 and the distribution of handsets begins in early 2010; what a shame they couldn’t do it for Christmas.

From today however, Vodafone UK and Vodafone Ireland customers can register their interest in iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS at www.vodafone.co.uk/iphone.  Pricing, tariffs and availability information will be announced locally in the future.

On Monday Orange also announced it had reached an agreement to sell the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. But the Orange U.K. sales will begin this year, by the end of 2009, the company said.

If anyone if currently with T-Mobile it was also rumored they are in negotiations with Apple. More recently, though, there was word of a possible merger between the company and Orange.
