Maverick Money Makers Cell Phone Cash – A Genuine Review!
Cell Phone Cash is Mack Michaels of Maverick Money Makers brand new money making idea. I have signed up to the course and this is my full review after three weeks in to the course.
Before I give you my review; if you are a regular to Rat Race Winner you will know that I only give the truth, I have no hidden agendas and operate no sneaky sales techniques. Like most people with blogs however I do monetise the traffic, but I will never lie about a product to get an affiliate commission! Therefore all my reviews are honest and accurate to my own experience.
My Review
I have years of experience in sales (offline and online), technology, marketing and the Internet. I have also purchased many money making ebooks. I am also a member of Maverick Money Makers and also Wealthy Affiliate of which I do recommend.
Cell Phone Cash is spoon fed to you over the course of 8 weeks. Each week a new module is released, and with each release comes more advanced marketing techniques. The course centers around promoting pay per lead and pay per sale products and services over a cell phone (or mobile phone for us Europeans) network using a site called Admob.com. This site basically charges from $0.05 per click; much better than Google’s $0.50 per click for the same product you could be promoting!
I followed week 1 and week 2 tutorials exactly to the videos!!
Then having give it some thought, I promoted 4 products in total. All of which I feel had the best chance of selling via a mobile phone. I figured money making ebooks and in fact 99% of clickbank products would NOT sell using this method… But anything to do with iPods, Phones, Dating would..
The Products I Promoted
1. An iPod repair guide via Clickbank.
2. A dating site via Commission Junction.
3. The Cashcrate referral scheme.
4. A mobilephone ring tone download site.
So far I have had over 1000 clicks, made ZERO sales, have lost $60!! I have $40 remaining on my Admob account…. I did get one referral for cashcrate. WOW! (By the way I added Cashcrate as it is a proven money making site and as a good optin form).
All sites work fine on the iPhone, all sites are easy optin forms. All sites are pay per lead. All of this in theory ticks all the right boxes for this type of marketing.
I figured the one which would work best out of the above would of been the ringtone download site as it ticked all of Mack’s boxes! More importantly once the viewer enters and confirms their number the payment is taken off their phone bill, thus easy payment.
It is important to consider that anyone viewing the ads on a mobile phone will not be in a position to pull out a credit card and buy products, nor would they have time to fill in a long application form. Therefore all of the above products I chose should have sold!
Summary
Anyone who is about to test Cell Phone Cash needs to hold off until someone finds a way to monetise Admob, otherwise you will lose money. If you research the Internet you will discover there are obviously some very experience affiliate marketeers who have lost; more importantly the people who say they have made money have still not provided HARD evidence.
People have even tried their own bespoke squeeze page with optin form, You Tube adverts etc All to no avail.
I feel Mack should get at least some credit for introducing the concept to us all, plus if you have purchased Cell Phone Cash and later canceled your Clickbank subscription at least this part was free!
Mack has let him self down with this product and potentially faces loosing his credibility. I have spoken to at least 40 people who have tried this product, 100% of them have lost at least $50 on Admob and have made very little sales, definitely no profit!
I do actually believe there is a killing to be made from this marketing method, its just a case of finding what works best. (Maybe then someone should write an eBook on a Cell Phone Cash System-The Tested And Proven Method!!). I would buy it! I’m sure everyone who has lost money would too!
Admob does have great potential as Mobile Internet Surfing is the future!
Final Word
I have spent a few hours tonight researching another method to maximise Admob. I think it has the best chance of working. The theory behind it seems solid. The idea came to me as I have lots of dot tel domains and I will be using the same method to monetise them..
I will try it and let everyone know (maybe via an eBook.. HA HA).
Finally, if you are serious about making money online, I would definitely recommend you consider Wealthy Affiliate. This membership site quite simply outshines any other similar site, not just for quality content but for the caring service and assistance they offer every single member.
