Legal And Financial Claims are a credit card claim Company who state they can get your unenforceable credit card balances wiped clear and mis-sold payment protection insurance refunded.
These credit card claims in-particular are made possible due to the 1974 Consumer Credit Act which might render any credit card agreements made prior to April 6th 2007 unenforceable.

And with any boom business you get the con men moving in for the easy feast; preying on the desperate people who are in debt.
One such person who used such a Company was a very close friend of mind. He has given four credit cards to process potential claims to Legal And Financial Claims (Part of the Sky Networks Group). This company is based at 28-32 Greenwood Street, Altrincham, Cheshire. They charged him £495 per credit card claim application. They stated it was a no win, no fee service. Meaning if the claim was not forceable you would get the £495 fee refunded.
Months after signing up with Legal And Financial Claims he received a letter from the acting solicitors stating they required a further £500 to issue a legal proceeding against the credit card company. What happened to the no win no fee promise?
And more recently the same solicitor has advised that every single case file for Legal And Financial Claims has been returned back to Legal And Financial Claims. After trying to ring Legal And Financial Claims recently, he has discovered all the phone numbers to be unobtainable! After further digging he has discovered that the emails are being redirected to an accounts firm called AccountsDirect.biz.
Legal And Financial Claims bragged to be processing over seventy applications per week! I personally estimate they have done close to 2000 applications. Multiply this by £495 application fee you get close to a million pound income.
Its in my opinion that Legal And Financial Claims have made error with the no win, no fee promise and rather than refund the application fee as promised, they have simply closed down the business, thus pocketing close to a million pound!
After speaking with accountsdirect.biz they have advised they are acting for Legal And Financial Claims with regards to liquidating the Company assets.

ReplyI have also used this company. I paid them £2000 back in June. I have tried all their phone numbers and they are all dead apart from 1, which says they have been bought out. I have since been in touch with local trading standards and they have advised that they are receiving regular complaints about them.
I think Rat Race Winner is correct. They have gone into administration.
Anyone else reading this I would recommend you speak with Rat Race Winner on his email address listed on the post. He has given me some very sound advice!
