Before reading this post I suggest you read a related article called How To Plan And Set Goals.  To successfully accomplish your goals you must firstly make sure you have stated each goal as a positive statement, in fact it is very important that from now on you try to make most statements positively.

One of my rules in life is to avoid negative people at all costs!  Negativity is contagious!  If you think positive, you will act and speak positive; as a result positive people will surround you:  Positive events will then happen in your life!

Use effective time management techniques to prioritise your goals in order of importance and integrate them into your personal task system.  Make sure you set realistic timescales which have a broad target range.  For example rather than stipulating an exact date it would be wiser to use a period of a month; this way you have given yourself a bigger target date which will cover any eventualities of going pass your time limit.

Another great tool to use is a dream board; this is where you actually place pictures of your goals on one sheet of paper.  This will assist you to visualize your dreams and goals.  By pining the paper up some where prominent your subconscious mind will remember these goals and your ‘gut feeling’ or instinct will then assist you when making life changing decisions.  It is important to trust your ‘gut instinct’; it will often be right!

Finally, when setting your goals also consider the factors which are out of your control which could affect the ultimate outcome.  Any failure when completing your goal list will have a result on your confidence and motivation to carry on.
