If like me you have a computer at home, one at work and a also a laptop, you will no doubt be stressing out over keeping all your folders and file synchronized.
I used to transfer files between each PC using a pendrive or for the single files I used to just email it to myself.
None of these methods are ideal and practical.
If you’re new to Rat Race Winner, I like to write about methods or tools that make life easier. I love online tools that free up time so you can maximise on life. Unlike money, time is one thing that you can never get back after you loose it!
The solution to this problem is Dropbox.
My Dropbox Review…
Dropbox is absolutely fantastic and it’s so easy to use. All you have to do is download the Dropbox software to each one of your PCs. This then puts a ‘Dropbox Folder’ in your documents folder on each PC. Your files are then held securely online and shared by each of your computers.
You can even access the files from any PC without downloading the desktop software via the secure Dropbox website. If you have an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can download a Dropbox app which is great for viewing files whilst on the go.
For those that travel overseas a lot like me, you could use Dropbox to store all your travel information. All you need is access to the Internet, meaning you can leave your laptop at home which is one less thing to worry about!
