E Mail Management
Increase Online Sales By Capturing Leads
The ultimate goal with ‘lead capture’ is to obtain the email address of the visitor, along with their permission to allow you to contact them away from your site.
Alternatively you might want visitors to just subscribe to your RSS feed so they’ll continue to read your content and then participate on your site at their convenience.
A lot of people set up email lists and auto-responders with the aim of eventually making money by promoting products and services. The aim here is to get users to opt-in to receive future newsletters, announcements or special offers. The same principle goes for online retail stores.
Task Time Management System Using A PDA
The system I used today has been born out of much trial and error and combines the previous experiences with modern day advances in mobile telephones.
My current phone is a Blackberry Bold but any similar PDA type phone will suffice. Within the features of most PDA devices you will find a task system, and then within this option you will find the ability to categorise each task. I transferred my pen and paper system to the Blackberry system as follows.
- I established all my task categories into these headings; ‘At a Computer’, ‘At Home’, ‘At Office’, ‘Calls To Make’, ‘Errands’, ‘Learning Goals’, ‘Long Term Projects’, and ‘Reference Material’.
Effective Time Management System for Tasks
Job duties and work tasks for some people can cause stress and far too much concern than is needed. Completing your task list effectively is quite simply about finding a system which works for you and then making it a habit to use it constantly.
I get asked on many occasions how I manage to keep up with all my tasks, projects, business ventures, appointments, errands, trip planning and calls to make, and then still find time to disappear for six weeks every couple of months. Most people who ask me use multiple pieces of paper, post it notes and the back of their hands for jotting down to-do notes.
Gain Control Of Your Email Inbox
Most Antispam, SPAM filters, spam blockers and email SPAM killers do not work! On average I receive over 500 emails per day, 60% of which tends to be SPAM. As a once disorganised person it tended to take me a full day to sort through, organise and action the important emails. It now takes me a few minutes each day. Years ago I relied on an online SPAM filter for my inbox but I still went on line and went through the ‘Blocked’ list!
As said in other posts if you want to leave The Rat Race you need to implement effective time management systems. This is my system for taming the e-mail beast!
Effective Customer Inquiry Response Systems

If you own an internet based business then you no doubt get inquiries from potential customers from around the globe.
Inquiries can come via your online form, e-mail or even by telephone and fax and I’m sure you try to send information to each prospect as soon as possible. But when you have other duties to perform maybe there is still room for improvement. By acting swiftly it shows very good customer service and a hunger to satisfy the customer’s requirement efficiently, all of which increase the chances of winning the order.
What Is SPAM And How To Escape It
In 1936, long before the rise of the personal computer, Hormel Foods created SPAM. In 2002, the company will produce it’s six billionth can of the processed food product. But that mark was passed long ago in the world of Internet spam.
Who Cooked This!? (How did it all start?)
The modern meaning of the word “spam” has nothing to do with spiced ham. In the early 1990’s, a skit by British comedy group Monty Python led to the word’s common usage. “The SPAM Skit” follows a couple struggling to order dinner from a menu consisting entirely of Hormel’s canned ham.
